This acclaimed family-owned brand has been making high-quality breakfast sausage for more than 130 years. In fact, they were the first meat company to freeze products for distribution. Jones even plays a roll in the foodservice space with bulk product offerings.

The Jones family felt their existing website did not reflect their values nor their commitments to the original family recipe  using only real and natural ingredients, animal welfare and sustainability, and community involvement.

I lead our team to craft an entirely new website which involved developing a brand strategy, storytelling, capturing photography and video, and UI/UX design.

With mobile-first UI design in mind, we created content blocks that could be easily made responsive. The new website required a full restructure of the page hierarchy and navigation. Mindfully, our team developed a new design system for products and recipe pages and entirely new sections about The Jones Difference and available jobs. And also, devising a solution to integrate the consumer and foodservice websites into one.

 

Previously, the Foodservice website was a completely separate website from the Consumer website. The Jones Family desired to have them combined to have one cohesive website showing their commitment to every aspect of their business.

Our team was honored with awards from the 29th Annual Communicator Awards in the General category for Consumer Packaged Goods, and from the W3 Awards for General Websites in Food and Beverage.
